Website & Navigation Tip

I have now posted over 80 story vignettes on my website. Many of my vignette writings exceed the common “less than 1,000 word count” typically presented in this writing style. My writings have been evolving over time and I am proud of this evolution. I have now recognized that there are many potential publishing projects developing in this website, both in the fiction and non-fiction genres.

Should I consider actively seeking Literary Agent representation?

To easily navigate my website, select My Writings in the Menu Bar to be directed to the current list of my vignette writings. These writings of my memories appear in the Parts and Eras from when they occurred. Select the Vignette Title link in the Era that captures your interests to learn more about this part of my story.

  • A Milestone…

I consider this milestone to be an important one in support of my recovery efforts. Completing this part of my recovery is an achievement of confidence with my resolve to become stronger and healthier with my heart, and in my life. So, my milestone is that I reached my thirty-sixth cardiac rehab session without any…

  • Interview With A Therapist…

Finding a therapist in today’s world after the pandemic sent so many people into new levels of anxiety, I knew would be very challenging. Also, when you think you have found a therapist that you might be comfortable with, they announce that they are not comfortable with having you as a client. Fortunately, this did…

  • Volvo’s Don’t Break…

Well, yes, they do. But what I experienced with my Volvo I believe was definitely out of the norm and was never a thought in my mind because Volvo’s are supposed to be very well-built cars. Here is what I experienced. My 2016 Volvo S60 Inscription engine failed after it was basically rebuilt in the…

  • The Gym…

As my cardiac rehab nears the finish line, I need to find a gym that would work for me and my goals. I began my search online looking for potential gyms that looked good functionally and what the resumes of their personal trainers showed as experience. I knew that there are so many gyms that…

  • Four Phases…

After some additional personal consolation, I came up with an idea to make my recovery occur over four phases of effort. I also wanted to make sure that the four phases I was creating could support my new beginnings that was now required due to an anticipated future change in my life. I determined that…

Introduction…

I chose a blog platform to share my story of recovery and change over a prolonged period of time since my story cannot be captured in a simple writing as it is still evolving. As my story continues to evolve, I plan to reveal my story in vignettes from past memories and from recent activities. Using this format, what I am looking to do first is to share this life changing event that could have ended my time here in this world along with my recovery and new discoveries about myself. I will then insert the setting of new life goals and interlace past memories that might help in your understanding of where I have come from, and where my rebuilding and new discoveries may take me.

So, this is the first time I am sharing my story of recovery and new beginnings after experiencing a life changing event. While I am not sure this story will be of interest to anyone, I feel that sharing my story might help to encourage others to know that how you respond to life changing events will help you with your vision of where your future can go. Please join me in my journey of recovery, change and new beginnings.
